Tests with 3D Concrete Printer in Florida – INSTATIQ Launches in the USA

INSTATIQ is marking a milestone in mobile 3D concrete printing in the United States! In Miami, Florida, we successfully conducted 3D printing tests using locally available ready-mix concrete – without any special additives. This demonstrates that conventional concrete from any batching plant can be used for 3D concrete printing projects, significantly simplifying the technology and supporting sustainable construction practices.

A key focus was on qualifying regional concrete suppliers to establish 3D concrete printing technology sustainably in the US construction market. Local building codes and permitting processes are equally important, as they form the foundation for future digital construction projects using 3D printing.

Through close collaboration with local partners, INSTATIQ is paving the way for innovative building methods that combine efficiency, sustainability, and precision in the construction industry.

House from a Mobile 3D Printer: Together with Putzmeister, SCHWENK, and Rupp, we are realizing our first joint building – a remarkable example of mobile 3D concrete printing technology and digital construction processes.
