SLAYER BY LAYER: PRECISE CONSTRUCTION WITH 3D PRINTING

We are pleased to present our next printing project. Together with Putzmeister, SCHWENK and the Rupp Group, we have realized a building in Remmeltshofen, Bavaria, completely with our mobile 3D printer KARLOS. This project impressively demonstrates how modern 3D printing technology can make construction processes more efficient, sustainable and precise – without compromising on quality.

Sustainable and efficient – building made easy

One of the major advantages of this project is its material efficiency and low emissions. The concrete from SCHWENK was developed in such a way that it produces significantly less CO₂ and thus minimizes the ecological footprint of the construction project. Karlos underlines this with its all-electric drive and extremely low energy consumption. It uses standard concrete with a grain size of 8 mm, which further supports the resource-saving construction process.

This not only saves time on the construction site, but also means less wasted material and a more sustainable construction method. A win-win situation for project participants, clients and the environment.

Next steps: Focus on larger projects

Following the successful completion of this project, we are already planning the next one – an apartment building that will also be built using KARLOS 3D printing technology. This will show that larger construction projects can also benefit from 3D printing and are suitable for the mass market.
