To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed Simulation Engineer (f/m/d) to join us as soon as possible.
As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating a digital twin into our process chain to support the automated planning and optimization of the printing process.
Your Responsibilities
- You model our 3D printing process dynamically to enable early predictions of quality and timing during the print preparation phase.
- You identify and validate your models using machine and print data.
- Your simulations provide the foundation for print strategies, speed planning, machine positioning, and collision monitoring.
- You evaluate new ideas and concepts through simulation to assess their potential.
- Your solutions are seamlessly integrated into our continuous and interoperable toolchain.
- You provide simulation results to other team members and work closely with our development and construction site teams to continuously improve the 3D printing process.
- You coordinate independently with both internal and external stakeholders.
Your Profile
- Degree in Cybernetics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong abstraction capabilities and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
- Solid understanding of system dynamics and experience in modeling and system identification
- Experience with Matlab, Simulink, and Python is a plus
- Intrinsic motivation to acquire new skills and a high degree of initiative
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
- Enjoyment in working in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment
