Backend / Algorithmic Engineer (f/m/d)

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for an experienced and committed Backend / Algorithmic Engineer (f/m/d) to start as soon as possible.

As a Backend / Algorithmic Engineer for our digital process chain, you will be responsible for further developing our print-preparation services.

Your Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of software solutions ranging from the BIM import of building models to path planning for printing
• Optimization of existing services (printability checks, slicer, path planning, etc.)
• Integration of developed solutions into our service-oriented software architecture
• Provision of interfaces for other team members
• Close collaboration with project teams to improve processes and products
• Intense collaboration and independent coordination with Product Owners and other internal stakeholders
• Strong liaison with external development service providers

Your Profile

• Degree in software engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
• Solid experience in software development
• Excellent programming skills, ideally in Python
• Hands-on experience with algorithmic problem-solving methods
• Experience with modern software development methods and tools
• Intrinsic motivation to acquire new skills and a high level of initiative
• Enjoy working in a dynamic team and strong communication skills
• Business-fluent German and English skills
